Policies at Bright Night Cards

In today’s online shopping market, we believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s why we have designed the most generous, fair and transparent store policies for our customers. Read the following sections to find out more about how we deliver or cancel product orders, or about how we secure your personal data. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Order and Delivery

Once you place an order for a card, we will personalise (where required), print and hand finish each order as quickly as possible. This can sometimes be the same or next day but within a maximum of four days (including weekends).  Production times can vary slightly depending on order levels so please allow for this, especially at busier times of the year, for example Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day etc.  The card will then be posted to you on the fourth day or the morning of the fifth day (before 9am). Royal Mail collections are 9am Mon-Sat.

We use Royal Mail first class for delivery of all our greeting cards. This service costs £1.00 and Royal Mail endeavour to deliver your card the next working day after collection (this includes Saturdays). Please be aware that this is in no way a guarantee by Royal Mail that it will be delivered within this time frame and delays do occur from time to time.

Please note, occasionally Preciosa crystals can vary from the exact ones shown in the example card photos due to stock levels. However, there will always be the same number of crystals as shown and they will always match the theme of the card.

Please note, colours can appear slightly different on screen due to differing devices. The colours are even more vibrant and beautiful in real life!

If you require your order urgently then please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation and Returns

We want you to love your hand finished greeting card as much as we love designing and making it for you but in the unlikely event that you need to cancel or return your order, please read on.

We regret that personalised cards cannot be returned as they are not re-saleable. Our cards are carefully packaged to avoid damage in the post but in the unusual event that your order is damaged in transit please contact us to order a replacement. On receipt of proof of the damage (a photo will be sufficient) we will replace your item within two working days. Your replacement will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class postal service.

If you make a spelling mistake when placing a personalised order, we are not responsible for this and a refund or replacement will not be issued so please check your order details carefully before placing the order. All cards will be posted to the address supplied at checkout. If you supply the wrong address, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already been dispatched the address can not be altered so a refund or replacement will not be issued.

If a mistake is made and it is found to be our fault then a full refund plus postage cost will be issued.

If you wish to cancel your order, a full refund will be given providing production has not already started . If your card has already been made, you may still cancel your order for a refund but £2.00 will be deducted for waste of materials and time.

If you change your mind once you receive your order, you can request a refund or exchange (minus postage costs) but the card must be returned to us within 14 days from receipt of your order in perfect re-saleable condition. The card must be unopened and still in the cellophane wrapper. This does not apply to personalised cards. We are not responsible for any return postage costs incurred by you. We are not responsible for any items lost in the post when being returned. Therefore, we strongly recommend that all returns are sent via recorded delivery.
